Buy My PSA-Graded Cards

Also: a PSA 10 1961 Topps Yaz sales record

In case you missed it, I sent 20 cards to PSA and asked them to sell 6 of them on eBay for me, but they ended up mailing all 20 back to me. So now I have 6 cards that I wanted PSA to sell for me.

How did this happen? Here is PSA’s explanation:

“Thank you for reaching out and providing them with the order number. I was able to detect that the change was made too late to sell on eBay. Initially, this must be done before the grades are posted as there is such a short time frame from grades ready to shipping. It is hard for the system to catch this change in this result it did not make it in time to sort it out. I do apolgozie for the incivnince.”

(Spelling errors theirs.)

So when grading with PSA, you need to make the sell/keep decision prior to the grade popping. I was going to keep the Ripken had it been a 9 or lower, but sell at 10. But you can’t do that.

So now I can sell them directly to you. Shipping costs are included.

I’ll need to make a decision this week. You can reply to this email or email me at [email protected] if you’d like to make an offer.

One catch: I can only take Venmo.

Here are the cards, with prices under them and linked to the PSA certs:

Remember, I am only able to accept Venmo.

PRESENTED BY THE PENNYSLEEVER

New Pennysleever vintage products coming very soon!

Here are the products that I use from The Pennysleever:

This 1961 Topps Carl Yastrzemski PSA 10 card sold for $97,600 (including buyer’s premium) last month at Heritage Auctions.

According to Card Ladder, the last PSA 10 copy of this card sold four years ago for about half that:

Not a bad return. There are four in the pop report.

👻 Brief Horror Movie Review of the Week

I watched Heretic Saturday morning. I had no idea what it was about going in, and I’m glad for that. Hugh Grant was shockingly great as a charismatic psycho.

4 out of 5 stars for this psychological escape room thriller.

I have a Weekend of Mike approaching, when my wife and youngest leave for a weekend. I’ll be without a vehicle, so I’ll be watching a lot of horror and eating a lot of junk food.

On this day in sports history: On March 10th, 1941, Lee MacPhail, Dodgers GM, predicted that all players would wear batting helmets.
